Based on the Katmath kB0 core, this CPU includes 512 KB of L2 cache clocked at 250 Mhz (half the rated speed) and comes in a S.E.C.C 2 Pentium II cartridge. This final sample was produced in late october and assembled in late november. The Pentium III was officialy announced on February, 26th 1999.
